Well Baxter was definitely worth the wait! Natalie, you sure know what you are
doing!! From the first time we spoke you told me that “Black Boy” would be the
perfect fit for us and after driving 8 hours to come take a peak for myself, I
found the same to be true. He is perfect and you were right on another
thing…flying him home was easy! He had such an easy flight that he still had
water in his bowl and of course was right at the ticket counter waiting before
the flight was even posted as arrived!!!!
At puppy class we have families coming up to us to see what kind of dog and
even had one lady tell me that it is all she can do not to come and get him
from me during class… Even in the pet stores, people are gathering to check
Baxter out! They insist he is so much like a stuffed animal they can't believe
he's not! The ladies at the bank say he is the cutest "dish rag" they have ever
seen! You guys are getting lots of referrals…ha!
Baxter loves going to work; I don’t know who is excited more to see him, the
staff or the residents and their families. When people come to tour the
facility, even they stop to come in to find out what kind of dog he is.
At 12 weeks we are sitting, staying, waving HI, speaking, shaking hands,
rolling over and doing high five. Natalie, I can’t thank your family enough for
his great beginnings!! You guys are the best!

Bebe is now nine months old and she is beautiful and wonderful. You’ve got to
love this dog and you literally have no other choice. I love her to pieces. She
is so much fun and gives me so much joy. Her early life surrounded by your
five children, their friends and you prepared her with great socialization skills.
She now weighs about 30 pounds, so cute, affectionate and a loving dumpling
that wants to be with someone at all times. The twinkle in her eyes, partly
masked by her long curly fleece coat, suggests the fun and amusement she creates.
Bebe is spoiled rotten as evidenced by all of her toys and chews. I believe that
her mild temperament, toys and chews have prevented her from damaging anything
in the home. Bebe is very smart and was also very easy to house train and attended
obedience school. She quickly adapted to the school and mastered the training in
stride. One of Bebe’s favorite activities is to chase and return different objects.
She waits in excited anticipation for things to be thrown, she fetches them right
back and waits to have something thrown again and again. She loves it!!
Every time Bebe goes for a walk she is the hit of the day and loved by all.
So many people are impressed with her looks and temperament. She is just
beautiful with her sparkly eyes, big nose, and ultra thick curly fleece coat.
She’s like a big teddy bear. I am frequently asked--what breed is she,
where can I get one, she’s the fluffy dog I’ve always wanted and given comments
that she should be in the movies, On a few occasions I’ve had people drive by
in their cars, park them and walk back almost a block to see Bebe. I keep her
hair long and I’m very reluctant to even get it trimmed. She is a giant ball of
cuddly, curly fleece fur!!
Natalie, I feel very fortunate that I was able to discover you and
Cedar Park Labradoodles. A multi-generation Labradoodle, bred by a dedicated
and loving family provides a truly special dog. Bebe is sensational and I couldn’t
be happier. The only thing better would be two Bebes!!!

I thought you would like to see some pictures of Reilly. He has turned out to be
such an incredible puppy. He is definitely an ambassador for Labradoodles.
Everywhere he goes people stop us and want to know all about him. I have
had many great dogs over the years but there is something extra special about
this one! Thank you and your family for giving him such a great
start. I am so glad to have this furry bundle of love and
happiness in my life.

Rogue is truly the dog that every family would love to have. She is obedient,
smart, fun, and loves to be around people. When we come home from the store,
she enjoys coming outside with us to bring the groceries in. She never runs off
or tries to escape but is content to stay with us, occasionally prancing around
the yard like a regal pony. When people come to the door, we can open it and
not fear her making a break for the outside.
She is probably the smartest dog ever created. Rogue knows tricks such as
sitting and speaking by the door when she needs or wants to go outside to chase
the birds away from our garden or go potty. She can do the usual stay, beg,
roll over, walk or dance in a circle on her hind legs, and can put her paws in
the air and play dead when she is "shot". Additionally, and this is the family
favorite, she plays hide and seek. A family member can tell her to sit, go hide
and then tell her to come and she will quite literally sniff them out. Her
sense of smell is so keen that she can find anyone, even when they are
completely enclosed in something. She will never give up and will run from room
to room until she finds them. I think Rogue's favorite game is treeing a family
member. When she knows that someone is ready to play, she will sit alertly at
the end of our long kitchen island waiting for the right time to chase her
"prey" around it. This usually ends with a child running to the couch, laughing
hysterically and Rogue in hot pursuit.
Rogue loves to be with people so much that if we leave a room she will follow
us into the other room and when someone new comes over, she can hardly stay
away from them. As well, if everyone is upstairs and it's too hot for her, she
will go just to the bottom of the stairs and lay there waiting for us to come
down and join her.
She has truly become a part of our family and we can't remember what it was
like to be without her. I chalk up her lovingness to the way your family loved
her when she was with you for her first eight weeks. She has returned it to us
many times over.

Chester has truly been an answer to our prayers. We are so thankful for this
little miracle in our lives. Our four boys have always wanted a dog…Then came
Chester! He is too good to be true. He doesn't shed, yeah! And he doesn't
smell! Yeah! Chester has fit right in to our family. He can be a couch potato
or he can run around and play wherever the kids are. He loves to be wherever
the family is. He has inherited quite a selection of stuffed animals form the
boys, and loves to play with every one of them. He'll go get a stuffed animal,
bring it to one of the boys and waits until they chase him back and forth. When
they tag him they say "gotcha" and then it just starts all over again. Chester
has become the master at giving high fives. My son got him to go up on his back
legs and do it up high with his front paw. Chester will do anything for a
treat, and the boys have done well with his training. I have been so surprised
at how easy he has been to train (I'm sure I'm prejudiced, but I think he was
the smartest dog at obedience school).
We love Chester so much - its amazing what
kind of joy these little labradoodles can bring - I can't believe he is already
13 months old! He is the most friendly dog I've ever met and the most
well-tempered.
I just can't say enough good about Chester. We love him to pieces. His favorite
part of the day (besides playing with the boys) is his walk. When I tell him
its time for a walk, he comes running to me and doesn't leave my side until he
is all leashed up and out the door. He totally knows what I'm talking about -
you cannot say "let's go for a walk" unless you are really going to take him
because he gets all ready. It's hilarious!

I finally took a picture of Angus by his bells. We hung bells (large jingle
bells on a leather cord) from the door knob of the door we always use to take
Angus out. From the minute we brought Angus home we rang the bells and say
“Angus Out” when we took him potty. Then we took Angus to his potty spot. Soon
Angus began to nose the bells and when he did we would say “Angus Out” and take
him out to his potty spot. Then Angus began to ring the bells on purpose often
minutes apart just to see if we would take him out. When he did we would say
”Angus Out” and take him to his potty spot. With in a couple of weeks Angus was
ringing the bells to tell us he needed to go potty. Angus even rings the bells
when he just wants to go into the yard to play.
He is getting really silver. His face, neck, belly legs up to knees and elbows
are all silver. His ears and tail are getting silver hairs. We are excited to
see him all silver. I think he will be beautiful.
He is about 35lbs now.
We are enjoying him tremendously.

Cody is such a sweet and loving dog! We all love to carry him around and he
fits just perfect. The only problem is that he is getting heavier and bigger.
It won't be long before he has to walk everywhere. I was worried the first
couple of days with Elvis and Cody. Elvis just ignored him but now they play
all the time. Elvis will get down on Cody's level so they can play fair. We
started Cody in puppy training class. He is so shy! At home or at the lake he
is not one bit shy with anyone but at class he will hide at the beginning of
class. He learned how to sit this week. Potty training has been a challenge
with all of the rain. I think things are going great and then find a mess. I
know he will get it eventually. My favorite part of him is when I go and get
him out of his crate (he sleeps all night long) or his pin (I have a small
fenced in area in the kitchen for when no one can watch him) and he rolls on
his back so that you can scratch his belly! He still cocks his head when he
wants to listen to something. It is sooooo cute! This past weekend we were at
the lake, Cody decided to get in the kids pool. I really didn't think he could
get in but he did. It was quite funny. Anyway, we just love him!

Here he is at 7 months. The best way to describe Tucker is pure JOY! He's
always happy and loves his new family, including our two cats, Pooh and
Stanley.
He weighed about 43 pounds two weeks ago - he's bigger than Trixie. He loves all
balls, someone to play fetch with and any toy that squeaks.
Thank you for the gift of picking him to live with us--good job!

I really want to thank you for all the loving care you gave Hobbes in his first
several weeks. It really showed in how easily he settled into our noisy, active
home and his response to the kids. He's very comfortable being handled; in fact
he thinks he's a lap dog. Hobbes greets people with friendly confidence and
enjoys being with people. Right away Hobbes has been comfortable with us
petting him while he eats and even lets us handle his food and take toys from
his mouth. Your early time with him clearly set Hobbes off to a great
beginning.
I can't believe Hobbes is 6 month old. Time has gone by very quickly. He's grown
so much. He was just at the vet for a checkup where he weighed in at 35 lbs.
I've attached a couple pictures for you to see what a cutie he is now. He's a
very bright, good-tempered pooch. Hobbes is a great ambassador for
labradoodles. He always brings a crowd around him when we take him out. As my
daughter says, we're sharing the good news of labradoodles wherever we go.
Hobbes is a very playful dog. He loves squeaky toys; the squeakier the better.
His favorite is a large rubber ball that has triangle sections removed so he
can get a good grip on it. He loves to play fetch with it.
Hobbes will indicate it's playtime by
bonking us on the back of our legs with his toy. He still has the original
lovies that he came home with, but they've both had significant repairs. We
joke that he mauls his babies. He's a very loving, cuddly pooch, too. He will
lie down where ever the kids are at. In the evening Hobbes will sit by my
husband on the couch for cuddle time. It appears that Hobbes likes football
too, so we're teaching him to cheer for the Bears.
Best of all, I've had no allergy problems with Hobbes. I can bury my face in his
fur and exchange kisses without any sneezing, wheezing, or hives. I've lived
with severe allergies and asthma my entire life and had bad reactions to every
animal I encountered. I had nearly given up the dream of ever owning a dog
until we learned about and met labradoodles. Australian labradoodles are the
ideal dog for families with allergy-related concerns. I am so grateful that
dedicated breeders recognize the unique niche that labradoodles fill and are
committed to developing such wonderful family pets. We're very blessed to have
our own labradoodle to love.
I've asked the kids to write a few thoughts to you about what it means to them
to have Hobbes. Here are their notes:
Hobbes is a great dog. Sometimes
he is playful and sometimes he is quiet. He chews toys and sleeps. No wonder he
is the best dog of all! -- Margaret, age 8
I like to play fetch with Hobbes.
He is funny when he licks like crazy. I especially like it when I pet him. He
likes to watch tv. I love to squash him. -- Zachary, age 8
Hobbes is my favorite dog of all.
He likes a green ball and we play fetch together. He likes it when I chase him
around the house. We call him "Booboo." I don't really know how he got that
nickname, but I call him my "Boo-friend." He and I like to cuddle up with each
other on the couch. He's my buddy. -- Josh, age 11
Thank you again Natalie for bringing our Hobbes into the world. He's a
wonderful dog and we're very blessed to have him in our family.
